Boss names/extra references in Radiant.

Last night I was fighting Gallop, the R-9 inspired boss and was wondering if any of the other bosses like Mika-L or their names have any other cross-game/entertainment/literary meanings (or any names or visual clues that refer to gaming industry folks that the team knew). Anyone know how far the references go beyond the R-Type/Image fight tribute?

If I'm not mistaken, the name Lunar-C (Stage 4-A boss) is a reference to Nichibutsu's Moon Cresta.
