If only there would be a PC port (Ubi's brought some great console games to PC, after all, although I'm wondering where Resident Evil 4 is)...

My brother just got a 360. I know both he and several of my friends would love the sort of frenetic vs. in a game like Senko No Ronde. Much love for Ubi Soft if they really do bring it over. I'll definitely buy a copy even though I don't own the system myself. That said though, boo to all the companies not taking advantage of the region free option. GRev included.

@Ed Obscuro
...offtopic
Resident Evil 4 for PC has already been released (Taiwan version - Biohazard4 - released beginning of February). It's horrible though, lazy PS2 port, and they stripped all the lighting...

According to gamefront.de Senko No Ronde has received its rating in Germany which probably means that EU release is imminent.

Are you serious?! "WarTech"?

(I'm such a huge whiner.)

At least it's not Mobile Sound Force or something. Still, as long as the game itself is intact (no soundtrack/character/other major changes), I might pick this up. (I just found out recently that one of my friends bought an X360, which I thought was weird since they just got a Wii right before that. Maybe they don't have the Wii anymore.)

Otherwise, I am pleased to hear this may infact go through with a local release. It definitely helps my case towards the 360, that's for sure.

Yossy eyeland imo. But yeah, that's the spelling they're going to be using apparently. I don't have a source for the price but Amazon has the game listed as a May 24 release here.

If it does indead release in May, fuck summer.

After looking at videos of this for almost a damn year on youtube never thinking i would play it, it seems almost surreal.

Good news for the localization, though the name change does suck. I've posted a review of the Naomi original
here, if anyone's interested. In fact I am a bit surprised no one else has bothered to review this game yet. It's hard to believe it's been out for almost two years now.

On another note, since Senko is a borderliner, shouldn't this thread be in off-topic?

It's also got a page up on Gamefly for rental. Check it out HERE

There is also a listing on Gamestop.

It's on EB and Gamestop for preorder under the WarTech game. Pretty much official.

Well, it gives me as good a reason as any to finally get the 360, at least! I'll be looking forward to this one, definitely.

I can deal with the Battlestorm/Wartech silliness. Good news. This will be a blast for multiplayer with our friends on my brother's plasma.

Don't get your hopes up, it's definitely not worth buying an X360 for IMHO.
My least fave Grev game by far (I like all their other games).

Its great its coming to the West. Definately adds a little spice to the usual crap they churn out on the XB platform. Would be one of my top 3 games to get on the system.

I read your review icy, very well - done! One thing I'm wondering though: you went over how the Virtual On and SHMUP crowds react to the game, but what about the fighting gamers? Have you seen enough of their responses to get a general feeling of how someone who players fighters more than VO or shooters will feel about the game?

360 needs to drop in price now. I want this game, but I can't justify 400 bones on a console right now.

That review was pretty good. I am confident I will enjoy the game.
