Even if it is cheaper -- isn't the Saturn version far better? Voiceovers, animated intro and ending, six button controls, weapon level saving, orchestral soundtrack, etc?antron wrote:is the PCB cheaper than the saturn disc?
I have just enough money to buy Radiant Silvergun.

Goodness... 6 button controls? Blashphemy! 3-buttons is THE way to play it! Although it only works well if you have an arcade stick. Real Arcade VF from play-asia is nice and cheap, but you have to use a second controller to insert coins.
I've only played a dirty burn, looking to buy the ST-V version later on, but I only ever played Arcade mode anyway. I'm not big on console-exclusive special modes, except maybe Arrange mode of Espgaluda. It's a bit of a contrast when you see people complaining about something not being arcade-perfect, and then turning around and praising some game mode which didn't even exist in the arcade version.

I'm really tired of people saying RS is overrated. It's a good game and is worthy of the praise it gets. If you go that far why don't you just say you don't like the game instead of bashing it because of other people's opinion because they like it.
The world would be a better place if there were less shooters and more dot-eaters.

Saying Treasure and particularly Radiant Silvergun are over rated is like saying ice cream isn't enjoyable on a hot summers day. Sure you aren't going to enjoy it if you are lactose intolerant, but in 9 cases out of 10 Ice Cream is universally enjoyable. Same with Radiant Silvergun.
