Two stupid deaths in stage 2, otherwise I think I could have come close to 100 million.

G19 - 18,006,930 - 5-2 - Ageha

*PIC*

Pleased with this run because I only had one life going into 5-1 and managed to get to the second phase of the last boss. Not bad for me.

Why don't you just use the edit-function or wait untill you get a score which is really higher than your old one?

Should have made it to Stage 5, was only a couple of hits from taking out st4 boss. Ah well. Still find Stage 3 the trickiest.

Wish I knew how much help it was to have the kakusei overmode maxed out =/ Finally bothered to toy with it this morning a little bit, and holy cow, just doing that and SLIGHTLY changing my play a bit on the fly increased my score by 2M by the time I reached the boss of level 2, at which point I had to leave to get my car registered. What all does letting the overmode max out do? Besides an apparent increase in green gem gain? o_O

Gave the arrange mode a chance the past couple of days for the first time and I'm kinda enjoying it. No new cave games for the foreseeable future means I might as well get my moneys worth from the ones I own already. I'll post a score photo later on cause I think I'll be posting scores on this for the next week or so.

This arrange mode is really kicking my ass. I'm hitting a wall at 5-1's mid boss every time I get there. Always seem to reach it with no lives, bomb or gems.

Everything about arrange seems to be geared towards pissing you off - the overly hard bosses, the need to load a replay to practice a level, having to play with replay switched on so you can save later stages, losing your full bomb meter when you get hit etc, etc...

Despite all these nuisances, it's a far better game than I thought it would be and it's almost like having a new cave game to play about with. :)

Yeah, I've seen a replay and it does look like it plays much differently. It was especially interesting seeing how the shield bomb thing absorbs bullets and turns them into green gems. Crucial for survival against some boss patterns ^_^

Had this for two months (hooray Christmas!) and finally feel I've got some scores worth posting (on runs just today...probably because I haven't touched it in a week or so).

Arcade:
EIHoppe - 18,817,430 - 5-1 - Ageha

First time I got the second score extend--every other score before that I'd seem to fall a few tens of thousands short (which would elicit quite a bit of cursing, I might add). This time, ended up with three lives going into stage five--lost them all due to stupid mistakes/not really knowing the patterns all that well.

Arrange:
EIHoppe - 66,593,823 - 3 - Black

Arrange kicks my ass. I always seem to do really stupid run-ruining things like running into lone bullets (in or out of kakusei), doing bad things like killing me or causing a loss of bomb meter that I could probably have used for gems.

Ah well. It's a lot of fun, so hopefully I'll be able to get these higher soon. *knocks on wood*

Haven't played this game for about 2 months. Fire it up this morning and...

New hi-score! Shame it doesn't move me up the table though. :(

I one lifed it up to the last boss and then lost 4 lives on the final (unfair) last form.

Much more would've been possible. Died a few times completely stupid. Onlly 1 life was left when I completed the game :(

Slight improvement here, but it still was a bad run. I had only 1 life left... and 39m before the bonus!
Dammit, I got a 9m Bonus for a run where I got killed only once. So 50m is well possible...

I'm saving my stage replays from now on, the first 50m run will be sent to Plasmablood to convert it to a downloadable video, if he likes to :)

Very nice, and very fast too. Keep up this pace and you'll be in top spot in a couple weeks.

Thanks.
I'm not so sure about to stop playing any more. Just discovered a 500k-adding-method on stage 2... well, I won't be able to beat Clover-TAC one day, but 60m would be nice as well hehe^^
