It's odd. A name, "Toaplan Development Studios," is not itself news. News has to have propositional content! Still, one can reasonably infer that the news in question is that this studio has opened as of Dec 2006. Too bad they won't say more.
aside from Zero Wing being in the "products" page. if I were to get a proper understanding of this, perhaps a company bought out the IP to remake it. hell, with the gigantic AYB thing, I wouldn't be suprised if that was infact the case.
