i need RGB cables and a rgb monitor for my supergun to play shmups vertically.....is that it?

Yup.

JAMMA PCB>Supergun's JAMMA Harness>Supergun>RGB or S-Video cable>TV/monitor

That's it. You also need a controller for the supergun, if you want to be able to move and shoot. :wink:
