I'm going to be in Japan in early April and I'm planning to finally pick up a supergun while I'm in Tokyo.
It will probably come down to the Blast City or a Sigma for me, and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice one way or the other on these.
Will likely be grabbing them from http://www.mak-jp.com/ctrbox.html but if anyone has any other suggestions let me know.
Any and all comments relevant to a first-time supergun owner are welcome in fact.
Thanks!
Supergun: Sigma or Blast City?
Yeah, it's the black one. It's the same as the AV7000 except the controller ports, which are the D15 pin ones like the Neo-Geo (I've tested these back to back with all their features, no difference at all). If you buy one of those $15 PS2>Neo Geo adaptors, you can hook a Hori RAP or whatever PS2 joystick right into it and it works lag-free. With the AV7000, you have to use Sigma's own controller (which uses a D13 pin connector).
If you're interested, shoot me a price. These usually sell for $300+. I'll put it up on the forums for sale this weekend.

The Sigma is a work of art. I would definitely get it over a blast city. Gives you the pinouts and everything in case you want to build your own controller. I've always had trouble soldering dinn connectors, but that's mainly b/c I'm a 3rd rate soldererer.
G-Front has a special where you can get the AV7000, 9000TB (stick), Jamma Harness & video cable for about 35,000 yen. S-Video cable runs about another 2,000.
