Saturn Battle Garegga weird jap message

Post by LRa »

Hi,
I just got Battle Garegga for my Saturn and when I run the game I get a message in japanese which has only one word in english -RAM.

Now s far as I know BG doesn't require a ram card, but anyway I do have a ram card, but it still gives me this message when the ram is inserted.

Any insight?

Thanks in advance

It's probably just complaining at you about not having enough space on your Saturn to save scores or the like. I presume it still lets you skip that message and play the game? I dunno, I'm just guessing here, as I've not had the problem myself. I HAVE had the low internal memory issue though, and it kinda sounds like that, but I've cleaned since then.

I can't seem to get past this message, which is the real problem here. :(

Well... Try cleaning out your Saturn's memory a bit, and then try. If that doesn't work, you'll have to wait for someone more helpful than me to come by, sorry =/

ditto
It couldn't be a faulty battery. could it?
So all your other games save and such?
Just boot up the old Saturn and keep the L or R button pressed and it will take you automatically to the menu.
I believe BG requires about 86 slots of memory (guestimating) or was it 68? So keep this free for this game.
Wait a minute, do you already have a save of BG in your memory?
Maybe that has become corrupted. I don't want you to throw away your highscore saves, but that just could be it. I never had this problem, or I forgot.

Awesome. That worked.
Thanks

edit:
Thanks D. Yeah I have a faulty battery. Every time I turn the Saturn on I have to set the date and language.

Really? I'm kind of surprised honestly, since usually when that's the problem, it'll let you do the whole "continue without saving" thing. Guess Garegga won't let you do that *shrugs*

Glad I could help ^_^
