Hi all,

Have been playing Cave/Razing shooters via Mame for a while and my interest in Shmups has been peaked although I have long had a wish to play these types of games far more then I have done just not done anything to much about it. So now I have done just that ..

Being as I like jumping in at the deep end I im now in the process of buying a new Ibara PCB Kit(Paying £150 for it) and a composite/s-vid Supergun(Paying £55 for this) to go with my MAME roms :)

I did play and enjoy Bangi O on the DC years ago, I also have a gamecube and intend on buying ikauga at some point.. have P.N.03 for the GC to which is pretty much a shooter in a 3rd person actioner skin. Oh and I have Raiden II PC here someware ..

So while I have dabbled in shooters in the past, I just havent realy gotten into them as much as Id like to as im primarily a PC gamer.

I'm mostly a PC shmupper to. Check out the freeware shmup scene their are allot of really good games there. These were desighned to be free unlike the games you play on Mame. Check these sites for some crazy shooters.

Welcome, Ibara is a fantastic game and also a great choice seeing as how you like Cave and Raizing. Wow!!!

Recommend that you jump into consoles too, catch up on some good times you missed with a Genesis/Megadrive, and some sweet modern stuff with Dreamcast and import PS2.
