Well I finally picked up a Kyuukyoku Tiger (Twin Cobra) board. Its the Japanese 1 player version with restart points, which I have never played before.
The screen inverts when you choose a 2 Player game. ie. Player 1 is one way round and Player 2's game appears upside down . So I've had to have the boot up screen inverted with Dip2 so that Player 2 can play normally. (Yet again, the 2 Player side is slightly easier than the 1 Player).
I prefer the International 2 player simultaneous version of Twin Cobra, which helps you through bosses by respawning without restart points, but I guess this is a new challenge for me and I'll have to learn the many recovery points, as I had to with the 1 Player Hellfire PCB.
There should be a dip setting that puts both 1P and 2P on the same side (of the table as it were). Or is that what you already did?
I think its something peculiar to this exact game...? The Dip2 on bank 1 has normal (OFF) or Inverted (ON), but the game still inverts a 2 Player game regardless = 1 player Normal / 2 Player Inverted or vice versa, its strange...
So, whether you set it to Normal or inverted, you still encounter the problem. It doesn't stop you from playing a 1 Player game on either Red or Blue Helicopters, but you have to set to invert if you wish to play on the 2 Player side and waste a 1 player credit.

Desert War ~ one of NMK's final games.
Choplifter style in tate, with some devious patterns and hostage strat.
It yells 'oh shit' w/every miss - genius.
M.Namiki on composition .. ooh ahh.

Great, reminds me of Thunder Dragon 2. "Got damn you, I can still fight you!". Very cool game intro BTW, in Desert War I mean.
My brand new Pink Sweets kit (with poster, thankfully rolled in a tube and not folded) arrived today. I'm having fun with it!
This completes my Cave SH3 collection. I have complete kits of everything except Ibara BL now (and I don't really care about that game so I have no plans to buy it). Up next is Muchi-Muchi Pork! I guess, probably a year or so after its release when it's in the $600-$900 range.
I didn't ask if it was fixed, but since these are the last batch of Pink Sweets PCBs made by Cave (they did tell me that), if there is a fixed version, you and I will have it.
I'll try and test for the bug, but so far I haven't gotten any extends and the game is kicking my ass. I've only played a few credits, so far my best score is about 1.3 mil up to Stage 3.
