What's this game?

In first place, sorry for my english, it's not so good.

A friend want to know what's is this game who have this characteristics:

1- It's from arcade;
2- A vertical shoot'em up;
3- You control a yellow robot;
4- When you pass the stages, you jump a barriers;
5- This game have a underground passages;
6- Have a enemy like a spider, when killed him he transform in another 6 little spiders;
5- Rygar, Gyrus, Ikari Warriors are from the same time;
6- Not are Cybattler, Robotron 2084, Dangar - UFO Robo.

Thanks for who can help me.

Are you sure its not Dangar? Try it in mame and see for sure, because this sounds like your describing this game to a T.

If not for the yellow robot part it sounds exactly like Dangerous Seed.

Underground passages, robot...sounds like Nichibutsu to me! It's not Metal Soldier Isaac II, is it (I think that's the wrong color robot, and I haven't played enough of it to see any underground stages)?

I would agree, but DS was from around '89 while the other games are all '85-'86-ish, and there's no mention of the different ship segments. Could always be right though.

No, it's not Dangar, I asked to my friend and he answered not. This is a very obscure game

Kissy from Baraduke is not a robot, and of course Magmax's robot is mostly white. And, as you say, they're not verts :P

No, not is Baraduke, Magmax or Mr. Heli.

My friend remembered an other characteristics from this game.

7- Your robot have a rifle.
8- The arcade have two buttons, one to shot and another to jump (to fly), stranger not for a vertical shoot'em up?

I'm stumped to say the least. The only games I could come up with (though they don't fit his descriptions exactly) are:

yellow robot, though this is a horizontal scroller

2. Amatelass (1986) - Nichibiutsu
