Can you buy the Ikaruga soundtrack?

Hey folks! I have been looking around but can't seem to find any info on this. Is there anywhere that sells the Ikaruga soundtrack? I have dl'd bits and pieces of it but I'd rather own the original if possible. Thanks in advance, P

I remember there being one, along with a Radiant Silvergun soundtrack... But, I've taken a spin around CocoeBiz, Play-Asia.com, Otaku.com, Lik-Sang.com, and... GameMusic.com, with no luck.

Hopefully somebody else here knows... I suppose that you could keep an eye on eBay. Good luck!

Nope, there is no official soundtrack. There were a couple fan remix discs that came out however. Best you can do is just to download it.

Yep, sound test comes on the game (like it should) but unlike RS they never sold one. Shame, I'd buy it.

It's surprising that a game of Ikaruga's stature didn't get a soundtrack release. Especially when someone saw fit to release the appreciate DVD. Oh well, I'll just put up with the Ikaruga.co.uk dl. Is it just me or is the dl version on that site a wee bitty rubbishy in sound quality terms?

No can do, they're not stored as a recorded stream, but rather are generated in realtime. Just hook your DC into your PC's line in and record from the soundtest ::shrug::

You could buy the cable that hooks your DC into your PC from www.liksang.com it's the DC Coders Calbe I think. It's only 25 bucks.

You're not hearing what I'm saying. You could rip the game with the DC Coder's Cable, but there wouldn't be any music files to be found. The music is synthesized in real-time from sequence data and instrument samples. Just record from the soundtest.
