About that DDP-Campaign Version PCB...
Let's not forget the DDP Campaign Version awarded out as a grand prize as well -- there are three know DDP-CV PCBs known to exist. ^_~
Like Gaijin Punch has said before, it was published just for the Cave Festival event...Cave guards it's arcade PCB intellectual properities very well. One would have to be an Cave employee to gain access to this highly coveted DDP-CV PCB. It's like never being able to play or own this very special version of DDP-CV PCB because of it's rarity factor and Cave's wishes not to release it to DDP PCBs owners worldwide...
Such an EPROM-burning upgrade service to convert such existing original "plain-vanilla" DDP PCBs by Cave themselves would be the best gift of all -- I seriously doubt that will happen in our lifetime though...you never know, Cave might have a change of heart (or then again, perhaps not). ^_~
Then that special exclusiveness factor of such rare shmup PCB loses it's one-of-kind uniqueness...it's like buying a "one-off" car at a Barret-Jackson Superauction event -- only one make of that particular vehicle exists in the world and that makes it very special indeed -- no matter how much it costs..... ^_~
