Contact the people selling them, and they will give you a list. Folks like Excellentcom and CosmicCo are quite happy to email you information about their products.

But do be aware these are just "MAME in a box". Not true gameboards, nor even licensed. Try supporting real developers by paying real money for real games, and keep the industry alive.

But if you buy secondhand you aren't supporting the developers, correct?

but you are still pirating. :? i'd rather see people pirate for free by downloading roms than they make some bootlegger rich who selling those same roms on whatever medium, but that's just me.

Despite MAMEDev's best efforts, there are still games within it that can be bought from the original manufacturers.

For something that's 20 years old and unavailable for purchase, then we hit that marvellous grey area. For games that are 3 years old, there's a good chance you can still pick them up legally and new.

And as mentioned, if people really are desperate for old games, I'd rather they simply download them off the net (or buy them in classic compilations if you don't mind console ports) than actually pay a wage to some professional bootlegger. Yes, it's all horrible grey-area morals and shifting lines in the sand, but there's not much you can do about that until copyright and patent law are made to be sensible, and companies begin to offer legal alternatives to retro collectors.

This is a load of garbage. If you buy a secondhand board, you're putting money in the right market. The seller might use that money towards buying a new game, or they might buy a PCB from an arcade operator who in turn will use their money towards a new machine. Or arcade parts from Hori, etc.

When you just buy a pirate, the money is certainly not going where it should.

Im sure all of you do everyday things that are not very law abiding..
Im just asking for a little list..
If you have seen my requests (WTB) then why would i buy this?
As i know the games i am purchasing ARE on the 100 list.
