Please take this with a ton of salt...
I was getting some info on the upcomming Radio Alergy on the O3 website and used their contact form to thank them for bringing a few shooters out in the USA and I got this response from them today via email:
"There is another Shmup lined up in the future. Because of legal restraints we cannot disclose the title. Please keep an eye on our site for details in the coming months."
Well I say bring it on! However, I will believe it when I see it, like see it in stores. I suggested to them that they do Raiden 3 since it seems like that one unfortunately fell through.

I have more faith in O~3 as well. They did a good job with Chaos Field, leaving things more or less alone based on my experience with the Japanese Dreamcast version. XSGames takes more liberties, I assume because they believe that these titles must be "Americanized" a bit to appeal to the North American audience. While they would be better off leaving the source material alone, at least they leave the gameplay more or less intact. While I would hate it if they tweeked the presentation, I still wouldn't mind seeing XSGames publish Raiden III as they announced last year. I could be wrong, but judging from the complete lack of activity on the XS site, they may be defunct (or close to that state).crithit5000 wrote:O~3 at least has the decency not to fuck around with the source material, unlike XSGames. I really wouldn't worry with them that much.
I already have a copy of Rajirugi on the DC, but I'll pick up Radio Allergy when it comes out--as well as this third title if it indeed turns out to be Karous. I'll support just about any NA release of a Japanese shooter.

Cheers to that statement. I support any NA release of shooties, even if I already have the Japanese version. Its good to see these games pop up every so often.al138 wrote: I already have a copy of Rajirugi on the DC, but I'll pick up Radio Allergy when it comes out--as well as this third title if it indeed turns out to be Karous. Now I wish someone would publish Senko no Ronde for the 360. I am having to resort to buying an asian 360 just for this game (though I will be picking up Project Sylpheed as well)
