IF I be so bold as to ask....

Post by Tokay »

Good afternoon!

I was wondering if anybody had links to papercraft sites that have classic shmup ships/characters to build. I'm a big shmup fan, and I love papercraft as well. Also, perhaps there's models to be had?
In particular, I'm looking for a copy of the Vic Viper papercraft.
You can email me at tokaygecko5@gmail.com

Thanks for your time

Hey, welcome to Shmups.

And

Wrong Forum. How dare you post on-topic threads in the off-topic section :P.

Edit: Sorry, I can't help you out.

I sent you an email. I have absolutely no idea where I downloaded the Vic Viper papercraft scans from. I never got around to building it either.

greg(bower)* posted them on the previous forum. They were an extra pack-in from the Saturn Gradius Deluxe Pack. These days they are hard to find unconstructed.

The original insert was probably precut in certain areas for easier construction. I printed out the image to fit in a roughly 12cm square (same as a CD booklet), and the thing is not the easiest to assemble. If you can manage, it stands 1 and 5/8 inch (4 cm) tall to the tip of tail and 4 inches (10cm) from nose to exhaust. When not busy flying around in front of me making spaceship noises, it guards my books.

I still need some orange marbles or dragon's tears.

*at least, I remember it being greg. If I am in error, my apologies to all involved.

I assembled it in normal copier paper, and it was so crappy; it deserved to be burned.

Edit: Get carton paper.

Those Konamic sadists. Well, consider X-acto knives a recommended tool for the job.
