Actually I've played PS1, 2, and 3(at a demo kiosk) so you have no point whatsoever. You talk about me disliking Sony which is very true but I haven't really talked up any other systems. With each new day you sound more and more like a Sony fanboy.Ceph wrote:Which bears an uncanny resemblance to the way you are passing judgement on Playstation.

Glad to see that others find my Recap Attack image amusing. I should modify it so he's throwing an MVS cart or something.
Anyway, the Radio Allergy site is, er, live. Sort of.

Hey, I resent that. I'm a pretty big Touhou fan, and I've never looked up any Touhou porn. I'm more of a realistic porn kinda guy, ya know? -_^ I also however, haven't gotten around to playing PCB seriously... YET. I still want to 1cc ESPGALUDA, then it's straight into PCB for me.Twiddle wrote: Just like how most SNK/Touhou fans only look at hentai art/fan art of the characters of SNK franchises/Touhou games and don't actually seriously play the games
*ahem* anyways... I have Radirgy on the DC and I really like it. The invuln shield system makes the game a bit easy, kinda like once you know what you're doing in Psyvariar2 and can invuln for entire chunks of a level. But score attacking the game is tons of fun ^_^
The only reason I'd pick up this title if it is out or gets released here, is to simply support the genre and encourage it being brought over more often.

I'm pretty sure I stuck a "most" somewhere in there though I'm getting old at the ripe old age of 19 so my memory might be hazy

You did indeed say "most." And I don't know many Touhou fans well enough to be able to speak for them. All I know is that while my roommate has strange tastes(I wonder if he knows I know? hmm), but I haven't found anything Touhou on his computer... yet... It HAS been a while since I've looked... Hmmm...
At any rate, Perfect Cherry Blossom is easily the best "buzz shooter" I've ever played, and could contest high up on the broader donmaku genre scale. At least for me, remember people, this is all opinion ^_^ The characters are all pretty cool too, which is why Immaterial and Missing Power gets so much attention from me. Very strange, yet very awesome fighter/shooter hybrid thing, done by the same people who made Eternal Fighter Zero.
And as a note, I thought I was just matching the seriousness of your post with my own ^_^ Maybe I got the wrong kind of sarcasm out of your post though... Tis very possible with text based language.

*shrug* I had more fun with Raji then any other shooter that I tried this year. Which for reference is: Ibara, Under Defeat, Pink Sweets, and Trigger Heart Excelica.
I thought the graphics where very stylized and clean, the music catchy and fitting, and the scoring system was really fun.
Ok, I lied... ESP Galuda 2's probably better then Raji, I just didn't have enough of a chance to play it.
BTW: The Dreamcast manual refers to a "Radio Allergy" in the profoundly retarded story section. And the name, is a concatenation/abbreviation of those two words. ラジオ・アレルギ=ラジルギ。(rajio arerugi -> rajirugi, or radio allergy -> radilgy)

Touhou fans are a strange bunch, at times exhibiting ZUN-like randomness, except sometimes it can lead to hentai-related content, but most moderators there are sane enough to warn people of NSFW material when posting a link, while being all-around nice people at the same time! The randomness stems from 4chan itself since a lot of Touhou fans also frequent that site, and they even have their own imageboard to post Touhou-related images (worksafe, of course), some of them quite YEAH at times. In short, check out their IRC channel. =DArvandor wrote:And I don't know many Touhou fans well enough to be able to speak for them..
Just like the personalities of Touhou fans- random stuff put together somewhat coherently and the end result is awefulsome!Arvandor wrote: Very strange, yet very awesome fighter/shooter hybrid thing, done by the same people who made Eternal Fighter Zero.
No, no no! You got that all wrong! You're supposed to say Shoot the Bullet!*Arvandor wrote: At any rate, Perfect Cherry Blossom is easily the best broader donmaku genre scale opinion. ^_^
Back on topic, I only played Rajirugi once. Then Senko no Ronde arrived and I stopped playing my Dreamcast for a bit.
EDIT:
That's probably what happened to me with you!*Arvandor wrote: Maybe I got the wrong kind of sarcasm out of your post though... Tis very possible with text based language.

At least they have it listed now... middle screen-shot nabbed from the INH super-play DVD. They appear to have augmented the original Radirgy Generic logo in a really cheesy manner.

*insert witty comment about how un-Gradius like Radirgy is here*O3 Entertainment wrote:Jump in your portable terminal suit and launch into the next installment of Milestone’s shooter series, Radio Allergy! A full arsenal of weapons is at your disposal and your mission awaits.
Radio Allergy is an action packed Adventure for the GameCube from O~3 Entertainment. The game is a modern day revival to the original Gradius. Radio Allergy suits the demands of the hardcore video game fans but is easy to learn for the casual players. The game’s subtle strategies become apparent after several plays and is hard to put down.

Wow... You'd think they'd at least pick something... Vertical at the very least for comparison. I guess they just figure that Gradius is going to be more immediately recognized than say Raiden or 194X or whatever.Kiken wrote:http://www.o3games.net/o3/?page_id=7O3 Entertainment wrote:Jump in your portable terminal suit and launch into the next installment of Milestone’s shooter series, Radio Allergy! If its $20, I'll do the same. I already own the DC version, but niche publishers like O3 need a little push in the right direction. Besides, being able to play it wirelessly on my Wii is an added bonus.Sonic R wrote:I'll be picking this up mainly for the same reason as I already have the DC version.Arvandor wrote: The only reason I'd pick up this title if it is out or gets released here, is to simply support the genre and encourage it being brought over more often.

Anybody know any more specifics of when? (and price)
.
Says there February.
O3 also sorta hints that Karous will make it out as they refer to Radio Allergy as the next game in Milestone's shooter series, making it sound like there are more games after Radio Allergy, if this is indeed a series...
And then in the Community forum an Administrator posts a link to the official Karous page and suggests "Look forward to this."!
O3 Entertainment looks right to stand as my favorite publisher of '07!
Just simply for Radilgy alone, but you'll notice in the Coming Soon page they use a shot from the Illegal Function DVD. Could O3Ent really be so awesome as to include a translated Super Play DVD with their $20 release?!?
