Can't play after drinking (which is a shame as I am good at that)...

Anyway... I have a lot of recent additions, mainly system stuff (SPI, F3 and what have you)... In terms of recent releases I have Ibara Black Label (fun but still hard) and Espgaluda 2 (not really played but seems very fun!).

I will only allow those to be installed if we save the best cab for Gekridian.

Gekirindan is too easy. Casino had it when it came out, and we figured out the 2Player side trick for easy 1CCs. I also have the board.
The best cab should be for ESP2.

I was joking... Its a *very* boring game... You don't score anything for half the shots you fire... Crazy.

^I half-figured you were.

zinger - The 2P side trick is simply playing Gekirindan on the 2Player side and the game plays easy. Weird but true.
I've mentioned this one before, but happy to update :D .

Regs, DEL

Ps.
ill6 - I'll be down Goodge tomorrow (Sun) night from 7.45pm to meet Bob, ARC and remove the Ketsui PCB. Unless something else is brought in, the old game in the back of the cabinet will be reconnected ie. Strikers 1945 (which is already working well in Trocadero, so that's a waste). Will - if you have an idea for an interim game in the nice sit-down cab, let me know  ).

Hi DEL, I can't come down this week at all.... Too much work to do.

Can bring something in later in the week though... Strikers 3?!

You know what I have pretty much, (don't have Pink Sweets or Mushi 2) but have most of everything else... Let me know what you want.

I just put Espgaluda2 in at home... Its VERY good... Really not got the hang of the new mode at all but its very fun! You can't have that or Black Label for now as they are in rotation. Also you can't have psyvariar 2 but anything else is up for grabs.

Thanks for the list ill6!
I've made my decision for now, I'll install one of my boards for the moment.
When it comes closer to the Meet we'll plan the ESP2 installation.

Cheers, DEL

Gordon The Drunk, Chunkis!, masamune, Simeon, ARC, the place was full.
The new game with the Sondtrack also went in. Ketsui went home.

ESP2 can go in anytime you wish Will, although ARC predicts he'll have had enough of Ketsui by mid-Jan, so he's offered to put it back in for the Meet if you don't wish to install ESP2.

That's not shmups interest, its Fighter interest! Another Fighter Tournament on Guilty Gear, 3rd Strike & Tekken DR run by Simeon and his local NeoEmpire site. Simeon's got the London Fighter scene running at full strength now. It wasn't quite all Fighting games though, me & ARC played some Mush and got a few oohs and aahs from the Fighter crowd  .

Nope, its an interim game. Check it out and tell me when you wish to replace it with something newer.

RSG is okay, but its no fun unless if you've put a huge amount of hours into the game before.

jpj, anything available to play at the meet is fine by me. Silvergun is a good game and all, but its kinda slow-paced, takes an hour for a good run, and kind of boring to watch. Really. ^_-

Faster-paced horizontal format shmups like Soukyugurentai and Border Down would be awesome, and a welcome break from all the verts.

As for other suggestions, its a shame no one has Radirgy on the Naomi format. That would be quite a fun little score-attack game for the meet, as its fast and pretty entertaining to watch. Espgaluda 2 is another good choice, as is Ibara Kuro (especially given the differences between Arrange Mode and Kuro, meaning no one has an advantage in scoring here). We should strap LUN to a chair and force him to ALL Clear Batsugun Special, as well. ^_-

Any more ideas? I'd like to see DEL demonstrate his Brave Blade prowess someday, come to think of it. ^_-

Errr, give me 1 year and I'll do it (maybe)! It's not worth watching me playing it, but it's always fun playing it, so no problem for 2 lazy loops
Anyway, I can clear the first round of Ketsui in almost any moment and I will surely concentrate on default ULTRA (which is a pain, because of the tapping and because on the PCB ULTRA is a bit faster) :D
It would be great to show you how simple and cool is playing it with a 5 buttons setup, but I'd need a ps2 for that ;)

Brave Blade is a possibilty, ESP2 and others. It all depends on 'decent' cab availability and who's coming down.
Hori-wise, Border Down would have been an excellent choice for the Meet (if it was 3 years ago when I was fully in practice). Gotta talk to masamune on this. He's getting greedy with regards to hogging all those Casino Hori cabs for fighting games :? . ill6 has the Border Down board.
LUN could perhaps coach me into the 2nd loop of Ketsui. I was playing it no-bomb style recently. He's great to watch on ULTRA, but of course as he's mentioned, the PCB ULTRA is slightly harder.
