Technically that's what they go for at Japangamestock. But then there's that $40+ shipping charge..JJG wrote:If you can get me a Japanese DC for $20 let me know!
The only really unique case I've seen as far as jewel cases go is the Border Down LE case.

Yeah.. but it arrives in 3 days internationally... so there's some balance. Plus, they're one of the few places I know where you can buy just the console by itself.SuperGrafx wrote:Technically that's what they go for at Japangamestock. put a mod chip in.... i did that ages ago. but i have one of the first batch ntsc j systems and have one game that needs the chip to boot. i guess i do use it for homebrew stuff though....
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Question: Have you actually gotten noiz2sa working on a Dreamcast? I've tried the ISO's that are freely availible on the net and I get no dice when recording. The screen just rolls over and over making playing impossible. I have a friend who made me a copy from the Mac-Burn using Toast however I haven't obtained, nor has he had the ablility to test himself.Kingbuzzo wrote:noiz2sa! but you can play that on your toaster.
Drill is really cool but it's just a demo, and uuuhhhh..... that slime volleyball game, and supermario wars are all fun

I wasn't really interested in this before, but the capture gimmick sounds fun and different, so I might as well.DC906270 wrote:trigger heart exelica is up for preorder at play asia

I'm gonna order the the Limited Edition of Trigger Heart, I'm really looking forward to its release. The only thing bothering me is that it doesn't state what the limited edition offers more than the regular one. Why don't they just announce what's in the package? I hope it's a figure or artbook, but I guess it will be only the soundtrack of the game.

As the links suggest on insertcredit, what is included is a booklet of sometype and the soundtrack.GeneralWong wrote:I'm gonna order the the Limited Edition of Trigger Heart, I'm really looking forward to its release. All the arcade impressions I've read (about 10) weren't that promising. I think it's safe to say it's a little above average at best. But well, I really like the designs (and screens as well), so I'm getting it anyway.Lawfer wrote:Is this even worth getting? Cause the reviews don't say so much good about it and from the videos I saw it doesn't look all that great either, so do you guys think it will be good?

Well I'd rather not waste 79 bucks plus shipping just to try it and see if I like it or not. I was interested cause it's gonna be in dreamcast and it might be good... But the main reason was that I was thinking about buying it before:Kingbuzzo wrote:can't know for sure till you play it yourself

Someone very kindly posted a full run superplay, so you'll all be able to decide for yourselves if it looks like a winner or not.

Was this captured incorrectly, or is this 9:16 aspect ratio?NTSC-J wrote:Someone very kindly posted a full run superplay, so you'll all be able to decide for yourselves if it looks like a winner or not.

I'm willing to bet it's how they compressed the video. Why.. is the image really tall and thin?Dave_K. wrote:Was this captured incorrectly, or is this 9:16 aspect ratio?NTSC-J wrote:Someone very kindly posted a full run superplay, so you'll all be able to decide for yourselves if it looks like a winner or not.

So, somebody must have liked it enough to play to the level of making a superplay.
It hurts to spend so much money at this time of the year, but those two P-A coupons came with good timing. I just used the $60 one to order Pump It Up Exceed Portable last night, and I'll use the $100 one tonight to get the Triggerheart LE... basically get some $20 item for $5 along with the game.
Maybe I won't get a Wii until next year after all.
