Has anyone played V for the megadrive?
And whats it like?
i cannot seem to find a review on it anywhere!

Do you mean this game:

It's called V Five (notice the line above the right V. It makes the V a romanic number).

I haven't played it yet anyway

It's also known as Grind Stormer for the Genesis.
This site has a pretty harsh review for it.

V-V = Awesome, but very hard Toaplan shooter. I think the Megadrive version is actually quite good.

Eliminate Down = Great, like Thunder Force/Gate of Thunder, but very hard.

These two shooters are really good. But Eliminate Down is very hard to find and not really cheap, even in japan (12800 Yen for mine)

"Are you good enough to play this game", this question deserves a seperate thread. What was meant by that statement

Back on topic, you could also ask if you are missing on any ps shmups.
I say Sonic Wings Special, cheap/rereleased/great value.

Anyway, I would try those 2 shooters if I were you. But Genesis shooters are really hard, I remember buying one ended up exchanging it for Alesia Dragoon and damn was that game great.

I am beginning to be tempted looking at that shiny well drawn megadrive front cover. Think I should get it? Anyone got any videos of it?
