Hardcore Gamer Magazine? That would have been James, IIRC.

He's not bad.. but his initial review of Under Defeat needed quite a lot of work. EDGE's recent review was also a tad lacking.

Astoundingly, IGN's Radirgy review is actually decent:

And they went so far as to play it in Tate.

Sorry if this has been asked already (I didn't see it), but is there a unanimous decision on which platform hosts the best version of Radirgy?

Thanks for the reply. Any chance you could elaborate?

I did expect it do be the DC version, what with is being practically written for that hardware.

IIRC the PS2 version has extra slowdown and some odd score-entry issues...I think the GC version is better, but I'm not sure by how much. The DC version is apparently just about arcade-perfect, but lacks the extra mode or two found in the other ports.

The GC version is better than the PS2 version or the DC version?

Better than the PS2 version, at least I remember that being stated at some point, not sure how it compares to the DC one aside from having an extra mode someplace.

Oh my god... After I spent $40 on an import, the freeloader disc, and the shipping. Waited over 10 days to get it and another 2 to figure out that i needed to take out the memory card to get it to work. This was all a month ago.

PS2 version can't handle many bullets on screen for shit, and thus slows down for about 40% of the game.

GC version has jerky slowdown in parts of stages 4 and 5.
