Allright, I know some of you frown upon emu usage, but am I the only one experiencing problems with runing Armed Police BatRider in Mame32 latest build?
The sound is too spedy, and it crashes......

man, the latest builds are buggy on my computer. I use an older version, which works perfectly fine for me. The newer ones always seem to run my games worse, no matter what game it is. I have it configured the same way and everything. I don't get it.
Maybe just try an older version of mame! it worked for me.

0.93 had a major reworking of the MAME sound core. All drivers had to be updated to the new format. Most could be converted easily. Some, like the Raizing games on Toaplan 2 hardware (Mahou Daisakusen, Shippu Mahou Daisakusen, Garegga, Batrider, Bakraid) are known to crash. This was being discussed on the MAMEDev list, but I'm not sure a solution has been agreed upon.
0.92 and 0.92u2000 are the last releases without the newer sound system. On the SPI side of things, 0.92u2000 only decrypts Raiden Fighters 2: 2000 properly.

Consider the Plus version of Mame32, I find it's a lot more reliable than the standard Mame32 build.
...Although I wasn't aware of the sound issues that surfaced after the 0.93 build. I guess using Mame32Plus wouldn't fix this...
...I still say Plus is the better emulator though. For one, it has autofire support. <3
