Phalanx X68000 - Disk swap help

Hey guys,

I'm having trouble running X68000 Phalanx. I run the disk with the (unskippable) opening cinema on it, and then get that screen with the girl and the Japanese text, presumably telling me which disks to insert into drives 0 and 1. No matter what combination I try, I can't get it to advance. When I did get a combination that worked, the disks then stopped loading and it stayed on a black screen.

I've seen a playthrough on YouTube, so I know it's possible. It looked like it was taken from XM6, which is the same emulator I'm using. (Yes, I'm using an emulator, but the issue at hand is what disks need to be in the drives to run the program.)

I'm stuck here. Can anyone with either knowledge of Japanese, or success in getting this game to work, help me out?

Try booting the system with the System Disk in drive 0 and the Data Disk in drive 1 instead of trying to access the game through the Opening Disk. If this doesn't work, then probably your disks/disk images are bad.

XM6? Try using WinX68kHighSpeed.
