Everything I needed to know about Guwange...

Post by rtw »

Mode7 once made a very nice page at the now defunct symphonyofbullets describing the basics of Guwange. However his site has passed on and the original page is no longer available. I have therefore mirrored the page at the world-of-arcades.

I went through the member list and it seems as if mode7 is no longer a member, so it's hard to ask for permission. However if anyone has any strong objections to me hosting it let me know.

Excellent! I saved this ages ago but lost it between hard-drive changes. Thanks RTW, I'm sure Mode7 wouldn't mind you re-hosting it.

Excellent indeed, methinks you deserve the position of Official Forum Site-Saver. Hopefully I don't sound too greedy in saying this so soon after this just came up, but if you ever get the opportunity to resurrect any of the other Symphony FAQs and such (I know it had one for Soukyugurentai, and maybe a few others), we'd all be plenty thankful for that too. I hope I don't sound like I'm rushing you or anything though, you've done a lot of good work as it is. :)

I'll hafta contact postman to make sure he has a link to your page at STC...

You know, huh? The only one I recall was Guwange...

Mode7 wasn't a big Raizing player, so a Soukyugurentai FAQ is highly unlikely. I do recall he had Mars Matrix and Gunbird 2 FAQs up (I still have them saved somewhere).

I could have sworn that the "Symphony" site had something for Souky on it...maybe I'm thinking of someplace else?

Yeah, I guess it was a different gamersgraveyard section. Whoops.

*goes to look for dunce cap*

Anyways, again, thanks for resurrecting the Guwange page, rtw. :)

Last I heard Mode7 was swallowed up by World of Warcraft. That was according to some people at TNL.

Sometimes I wonder if half of Twiddle's hard drive is taken up by this huge horde of smilies for every occasion. ;)
