Actually, he and WASi303 (the Psyvariar composer) are becoming regulars on the soundtrack CDs included with INH super-play DVDs. The two of them seem to do 2 or 3 arranged tracks per disc.

That would be the OST listed as "Technosoft Game Music Collection 15: Best Of Thunder Force". Which is unusual, as there is no TGMC 13 or 14.
Um, yes there was...

Whoo, no wonder. I've never heard of those. :P
I stand corrected.

Hmmm, nice. More Hyakutaro Tsukumo is always good, he has a great sound and style that carries over from his Technosoft work, and is instantly recognisable. I thought I was listening to one of the Technosoft OSTs when "Rose Garden" came on, before it started to kick in and I recognised it as an Ibara track.

I wish Technosoft and the Thunder Force series make a reappearance right about now. All this chat of Technosoft, TF and the OSTs is making me nostalgic. ;_;

(Doesn't help when you're listening to Broken Thunder, Absolute Area and Lost Technology on a combined playlist...)

That, my friend, would be a dream come true. And you never know! Maybe they're secretly working on something new as we speak. There's still hope!

The only problem is, anyone that's had anything to do with the TF series is basically gone. Working Designs is dead, Technosoft's been AWOL for years, and only an unproven rumor about Technosoft hiring new people has surfaced... and that was quite a while ago. And Sega? Well, I doubt a Lightening Force II is ever going to happen with them.

As much as I'd like to see a TF VI, I doubt we'll ever see it unless that Thunder Force Forever project gets renamed.

Well dicking around one day, I saw this on Japanese wikipedia:

Windows

If that means what I think it does, than it indicates that no matter how bleak things looks for it, the possibility of Thunder Force VI being a reality never seems to outright die.

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?
