Randorama - 2,583,200 - 2-1 - Normal

Horrible play score-wise, but finally the loop, and with 100% no less.

Sure, it's my duty to finish all G.Rev titles  I have practiced a bit the loop, not too difficult but still quite tricky...need to collect thoughts and post in the strategy section.

Randorama - 2,824, 120 - Stage 2-3 - Normal

Hm, from what i'm seeing, 2-4 and 2-5 will take time...

Stage 5 would be a cinch if not for that trio of hovertanks...

I can feel it...... As soon as I figure out those tanks I'll be ace.

Damocles - 2,184,800 - 2-0 - Normal

:P

Right after I posted my previous score, I went home and decided to have a quick run-through. That's the result of my first and only game.

My first death was a stupid one on 1-3, where I jinked back into a bullet that was aimed at my previous position. Despite this, I was having a pretty good run score-wise so I decided to press on and see if I couldn't raise it a little bit. I went into 1-5 with one extra life and no bombs. At this point I psyched myself up a little and got some kickin tunes on the stereo. I lost that life on the very first train section. The one right before the quad-prop miniboss. Anyway, I took out the miniboss quite easily and somehow made it past the three hovertanks. Going into the final boss I had, of course, no lives and one bomb. Due to a mistake, I had to bomb on the first form. I was actually happy with myself for making this far. Turns out, however, that I was capable of dodging shit I didn't even know I could. I took out the center barrel of form two because I hate it with a passion. Next came the twin vulcans which I have been practicing. Done. Third form, no bombs. Needless to say I was tense as hell. Somehow I read the patterns perfectly and took him down without missing a beat. So...umm...yeah....there ya go. I'm happy now.

...not bad for 12 hours of gametime, methinks.

Well, I think I'm going to move on to another game for a while. Ive played this one so much and I'm not making any more progress. I have patterns memorized, but I always seem to make some stupid little move into a single bullet from a stupid ground tank or something and it totally ruins my runs.

Maybe some time away will be good.

I decided to give it another go. Glad I did. A new best =D

The hover tanks on stage 5 got me because I bombed at the wrong times on them. They honestly don't seem like they would be that hard if had actually practiced them some.

Slight improvement. I'm breaking 2 million and then playing something else for a while.

I seriously think this is the maximum score for my lax attitude toward this game. If I top it, goodie. If not, oh well.

Scores are crap but i'm finally focusing on key issues, i.e. 2-4 and 2-5. Would have seen the true final stage if i didn't fumble with the joystick out of sheer panic. Meh, of course.

Yeah, i think i haven't been able to nail a single x2 kill on any of the bosses. Horrible score-wise, but i was almost into 2-5. After all, i'm just trying to 1-CC it...

After several botched attempts, I finally managed to complete the first loop (score was over 2.7 million) and proceeded to bumble my way through 2-1. 2-2 nailed me right near the beginning though... I got owned by the second docked ship's suicide bullet blossom.

I totally forgot about the suicide bullet spreads from the stage-3 boss engines in the second loop. :(

Kiken - 3,781,240 - 2-3 - Normal

Verified

I came very close to lifing the first loop... but over-tapped whilst trying to dodge one of the explosion-bullet-streams from the final large cannon.

This was really annoying... I died twice, back to back, in stage 1-5 against the damn hover tanks, and then went on to life my way through most of the second loop until I over-dodged the suicide spread-shell from the second large train in stage 2-4.

All that said though, I have been able to No Miss stage 2-5 in practice (at Rank Offset +10), so I'm hoping to have an All Clear before the end of the year.

OH. MY. GOD.

I was RIGHT THERE! I could taste the All Clear! Final boss, last form, about a third of his health left on my last life with 1 bomb in reserve. Dodged the first series of line bullets from the cannon blast... saw what looked like an opening on the far right to get through the second slower formation and apparently there just wasn't enough room!

GYAHHHHH!!!!

Had it not been for my stupid death in 2-1 at the boss, I would have nailed the AC. At least I finally SLCed the first loop. With any luck, I'll have a replay to post to Super-Play in a week or two.

The start from 2-1 table disappeared?

Due to lack of sufficient interest.

Word has it, that if you post a score it might make a comeback. ;)
