God bless doom-metal.

My Dying Bride - The Deadful Hours : My favorite MDB album after a while. I still love Like Gods of the Sun and The Angel and The Dark River to death though.

Nortt - Gudsforladt: What to say. Probably the ultimate doom/black album along...

...Forgotten Tomb - Springtime Depression : This one's a blast a well. I just can't describe the pain there's in this album.

And several things aside :

Dream Evil - Evilize : Not bad but not too good either. Enjoyable.

DragonForce : My favorite heavy-metal band with infinite -as I love- soli.

Decapitated - Nihility : This album is so pure in essence I simply love it. There's a incredible feel. this is death-metal.

Has anyone heard the latest Converge? It's so extreme I can't listen to 2 songs straight. So much chaos in a single band, that's terrifying.

I dunno how often they go to Europe, but if you ever get a chance they are a must see live band.

Yeah, it is a bit similar to Nico, but without such a husky voice.

Talidemon (aka Lady Morgan) - Nitez into Dreamz

I cannot praise her music enough. Despite her love of the Saturn and what bias I may have formed because of that, she truly is an amazing rapper and an equally amazing singer.

I love that kind of electro music. It's in the same vein of The Hacker if I'm right.

The album is quite calm, sometimes almost ambient, but the "limited" edition comes with an extra CD full of tracks previously available on vinyl, like "Sunstroke", "Rykketid"...

I fond Trentemoller is one of the only "minimal" artists who's not boring!

Oh, Vincere, you like rap/hip-hop, you should definitely listen to "Music for tu madre" by J-Zone, wonderful!

YBO2 - Alienation -- It's been awhile since I've heard some quality noise rock. Screeching guitar, some good drumming (Ruins guy), pained wailing. Ahh.
Flying Saucer Attack - Further -- perfect winter album

and Immolation

Why would this be locked? Their seems to be a good amount of quality music discussion and info sharing happening, as well as opinion sharing.

Funny: Converge are playing here in a week with Some Girls. I was probably going anyway, but your endorsement clinched the deal. Thanks, AK.

The vinyl of Edgar Winter's White Trash-Roadwork

Thouh I pretty much just listen to sides 2 and 3. 2 has a great solo by Johnny Winter who guest appears and a good mix of soloing and melody with Back In the USA. While Side 3 is just one song, Tobacco Road has absolutely amazing perfomances by Rick Derringer and Edgar Winter and a great melody too.

picked up the other day:

The Fall's Bend Sinister and I Am Kurious Oranj as well as Neil Young's Zuma in a 3 for £15 deal. All quality. I'm amazed at how good the Kurious Oranj is, especially as it originally was a backing live show for a ballet!

Also been checking out a load of Deerhoof stuff sinse their show supporting the Flaming Lips, as well as Dr Dog as a result of their support of the Magic Numbers.

Also listening to Brian Eno's The Drop
