I really like the concept of getting a slightly more powerful shot if you get close to enemy bullets.
What other games beside the SNS series have this feature?
Also, are any games in the "ESP" series character shmups?
A shmup question.

Re: A shmup question.
Esprade and Espgaluda II have 3 characters and Espgaluda has 2. Dunno if that means they count as "character shmups". What exactly does this mean anyway?mainpatr1 wrote:Also, are any games in the "ESP" series character shmups?

Storm Caliber Gaiden does this very well. Scratching bullets doesn't increase the power of your regular shot, but makes the ship shoot homing lasers.mainpatr1 wrote:I really like the concept of getting a slightly more powerful shot if you get close to enemy bullets.
