not necessarily a no miss, but i would prefer a good run.
looked on superplay and surprised that one isn't being hosted.
another thing is i can't use a torrent tracker...

someone else's comp, i'd rather not mess around with software i don't know anything about on their territory.Spazicon wrote:Usual spots I check are youtube, and a few torrent related forums. If you cant find it between those, it's a strong chance it hasnt been made yet.
Why cant you use torrent's, btw?

If you own the ps2 version of Raiden III, you can change the settings of the game to difficulty easiest, give yourself the most men and bombs, and the most extends. You should be able to finish the game on one credit (I don't think the enemies shoot at you on these settings), and a superplay should be unlocked for you to watch.
INH is releasing a Raiden III superplay dvd in a few days. Play-asia and Cocoebiz are selling it.
Here is a Raiden III dual play:

I haven't seen any single plays through the game.

Ahh, makes sense. Well, if you get to a PC you can do stuff with, then I'll help you set up a BitTorrent application of some kind.captain ahar wrote:someone else's comp, i'd rather not mess around with software i don't know anything about on their territory.Spazicon wrote:Usual spots I check are youtube, and a few torrent related forums. I'm betting it hasnt been done for Raiden III yet though, but who knows what we can find.

I guess the main reason why it's pretty hard to find any raiden3 runs is because you can unlock them in the PS2 and PC version. Same goes with Under Defeat. Btw, I don't think you'll "break" anything if you use Microtorrent...there's not even an installation necessary. The worst thing that can happen to you is that it won't work because of blocked ports or something.

Normally I check at www.super-play.co.uk if they don't have it I always think that noone has it. It's a pretty good page for superplays yet I never saw it mentioned here, any reasons?

Re: Raiden III all video?
I had the arcade replay on dvd (a shumper friend of mine downloaded from superplay i think. not 100% sure). but then i made the fatal mistake of loaning the disc to DEL.captain ahar wrote:looking for a raiden III all, single play.

The videos unlocked in Under Defeat are only techniques for the first loop. There are no second loop replays on the disc. Also, the EXTRA replays have a tendancy to spend too long fighting bosses. All the replays are simply individual stage practice runs... there is no continuity to them (the unlockable replays on Raiden III, though unlocked individually by stage, are from a single complete run of the game).Necronom wrote:I guess the main reason why it's pretty hard to find any raiden3 runs is because you can unlock them in the PS2 and PC version. There were some older arcade replays I had, but their technique wasn't very good for overall scoring (they really were more focused on survival).
The reason why you haven't seen any videos from folks on here is due to the fact that no-one has been able to ALL Clear the game yet. I'm sure there are probably some Japanese ALL Clear vids floating around somewhere.
