Yeah, our team is likely once again screwed by technological issues. We still managed to move up in the ranks last week, thanks to strong performances by landshark and Davey.crithit5000 wrote:DonPachi is the only game I can play off this list, thanks to lack of emulation and/or funds for PCBs and a way to play them.
Would anyone care to update the voting tally? I'm a bit pressed for time atm.
How can I do the right thing without knowledge of the situation? (Mulletgeezer, as a good utilitarian, will know what I'm talking about.)

We don't have a collective Ass, or Mule or any other Horse/Donkey hybrid. As English gentlemen we do have have 6 individual perfectly formed delicately curved Derrieres though....Pirate1019 wrote:If the poll is any indication, then looks like the guwange voters are out of luck. Unless Namakoteam can pull several votes out of their collective ass.
Progear does seem to be winning the vote by a small margin. We will be victorious whatever game is chosen.

I'm far too Economical in my Motion to do a proper count but i believe Progear is 3 votes ahead of DP, and 2 votes ahead of Guwange. I think you should be patient, and withhold your vote for a little while longer when knowledge of the situation will improve further....professor ganson wrote:Yeah, our team is likely once again screwed by technological issues. For results up-top:LUNardei wrote:The unofficial poll seem useless, for the apparent great number of random votes...
DonPachi = Subtract 2
Dangun Feveron = Correct
ESP Ra.De. = Subtract 10
Guwange = Subtract 1
Progear = Subtract 3
You kids be good now.

I need to make it publicly known that I have added additional language to The Tiebreaker Clause. You can find the highlighted tiny print in the usual "In-Case Shit" section on my post on the first page.
There are no modifications that outright change how the tiebreaker procedures will work. I have made these additions to allow for the possibility of there being three or more game choices running neck-&-neck-&-neck. My original language did not really provide for such a situation.
I personally do not like changing rules on-the-fly. However, I make this exception because 1. It's around the standard time a vote like this would begin taking place, giving plenty of notice. And 2. because too many variables have to come together to arrange a tie that no single team has total control over, let-alone strategize in a way that actually takes advantage of The Tiebreaker Clause for any "unfair" gain.
When it gets significantly closer to the deadline, if my stats are as close as they are now, I will explain this series of rules, intention behind them, and how they are to be used in greater detail.
Thank you for understanding.

As a voice of reason for my team, I'll state that while I don't think ESPRade is that great of a game (even Ikeda said the scoring system was shit) it's leaps and bounds over any of the horseshit Cave's competitors have put out...especially the stuff we've been choosing. So...Another good reason to keep on voting Progear Razz
Now we only need to wake up the other team members... Wink

BTW, thanks to twe for voting against the team!
This may be a few votes off, but it looks like Guwange and DonPachi are tied, while Progear is 3 votes ahead of them. The other two are way behind.Would anyone care to update the voting tally? I'm a bit pressed for time atm.

While I'd preferred DDP DOJ, which sadly isn't an option, I am going to support the wonderful Progear!
Not that I am any good at it, but apart from DOJ it's probably the Cave game I admire the most.
As said this is another Progear vote!
Go Dennis! Team Stranger needs you on this, as I am never,ever, gonna 1cc either loop.

This is all the more reason it should be a private vote.Pirate1019 wrote:Even then, the teams that are holding the votes until the last minute(Namakoteam) could make guwange pull through couldn't they?howmuchkeefe wrote:Progear needs at least three more votes before it's safe.
Sorta like holding out your scores to the last minute - kinda pansy'sh as it prevents steeper competition.
