Did Etona, the makers of Moujiya, become Face, the makers of MPE? It seems like they'd have to, or else MPE is grand larceny. They're practically the exact same game, except MPE has a Magical Drop-feel slapped on it. Same basic gameplay mechanics, same graphics. I mean, for Christ's sakes, the wells in MPE even have the holes in the top where coins rained from the sky in Moujiya. I was just curious how these two almost identical games came to be.
Incidentally, have you ever been happy to be disappointed in a game? I finally got around to playing MPE, after having fallen in love with Moujiya, which is currently one of my most wanted Saturn games. But here's this other game, MPE, which is practically the same thing, but yet it contains Magical Drop mechanics. I love Magical Drop. Luckily, Moujiya seems to be way better, the game mechanics seem to be far better suited to the Pieces-Falling-From-The-Sky-Style of puzzle design. I was concerned that I might become disatisifed with Moujiya, but my concerns seem to have been for naught.
