Two very stupid deaths, the other two were caused by stage 4 boss. A beast indeed.

got the computer for my mame cab fixed. it plays so much better now. and it shows in the score

Hahaha, well I figured "something" would pop out of the statue after I destroyed all the jewels. I've never been this far before and have never credit fed through the game.

The level 5 boss is great - love the background. I like how this game actually rewards you with better music as the game goes on.

Gazelle first. He then came to Cave for Esprade, after Gazelle went bust (and after declining an offer from Raizing).

machine gun spread: start directly under the middle of the second form, slowly go to one side ala psikyo

laser volley: go from one side to the center when it starts firing to increase the odds of having to go through the bigger holes

Yesterday I was losing a life or two for the 1st boss. I saw the 2nd boss a few times, but got owned by him.

Today I've managed to 1 life the 1st stage a few of times (And finally got the perfect bonus), but I lost all 3 lives to the 2nd boss like a dozen of times. Finally managed to kill it after losing 2 lives at it and panic-bombing all the time. Then I got at level 3, and died.

I keep dying all the time at this game... I think I haven't my ass kicked by a game like this since I got a copy of Radiant Silvergun... Jesus, what's wrong with me? I keep dying at level ONE, and BEFORE the boss. Most of my deaths come from me trying to rush for the jewels, but even when I stopped doing that, I just kept on dying at the most embarassing ways.

And when I look at the game, it doesn't even seems THAT hard, I just feel like I am playing shittier this week than ever (which is probably NOT true, the game is just owning me indeed). Goddamn, my self-confindence is going all way down with this game....

Let's hope for a better gaming session tomorrow....

I would've broke 2mil too if I didn't miss the perfect bonus in Stage 2.

Well, that might make both of us. I am not terribly good at shmups, but this is rediculous.

I don't think this one is right. I've gotten ~75% golds in the 1stage as well as gotten all the medals (30) and I still did not get the bonus (didn't die either).

I think the amount of 10pt medals might have to do with it as well.

Here's one I did last night.

Icarus - namakoteam - 3,100,140 - Stage 6 - [WolfMAME]

Inches away from the last boss. Wouldn't have made a difference, accidentally picked up the Hunter weapon way back in the airfield section, and was playing on luck up until the white airships popped off a fast spread and caught me.

Additional tip: spend as much time as possible away from the rocket flames, which, in another genius design choice, make the tiny orange bullets even less visible.

I want to know why the announcer says "its too big!" when you pick up the Extend. Out of all the weird things he says in the game (Energy Fart!), that has to be one of the weirdest.
