Really i'd say the stuff they did when they were at the top of their game was so good it could barely be overhyped and now they aren't on the top of their game there's hardly another good developer still at work in the genre so we may as well appreciate what we have.

The Cave guys are really strange. The stuff they release is getting more and more embarrassing. I mean, how is it possible that a developer creates a masterpiece like Guwange on the one hand and then instead of expanding it turns away to do THIS?! Is this stuff really selling that well in Japan?

1: He only develops it... doesn't plan/design it
2: Guwange's art/world designer has long since left Cave
