WARGH!

I've been in the last stage at the last boss and it was so close...

The first time I've been there, I had 34 mio and died in an embarrassing way on an easy one of the lvl6-boss patterns.

The second time I reached Stage 6 with one credit, I didnt fight the boss but got my current highscore for now:

AVE - 36,854,640 - 278 Hits - Stage 1-6 - Type A-L

And, by the way, what do I have to do for getting into the 2nd loop? Collecting all the bees or earning enough points like i.e. 50mio at the end of loop 1?

Your chain count on that score with that ship is good enough.

Never made it to 2nd loop before, either. That was indeed some "fierce fier power" heh.

There's another little thing which is not in the correct form of this forum, your signature is too big. The maximum resoltuion for them is 200x50 on these forums. I thought, I'll friendly inform you before someone else get annoyed of it.

Nice to see you contributing scores already.

Most important for scoring are either chaining. Or if you don't feel confident at big chains, you can rather try and focus on Bomb Maximum bonus. That's when you collect a bomb item and already have a full stock. The whole time that maximum line scrolls in the bottom of your user interface you'll get a nice score boost, except for bosses. Collecting multiple bomb icons without using any bomb or dying will increase the multiplyer on that bonus too. Leading to lots of points even without insane chains.

finally got back to the game, and managed a moderate improvement:

MTH - 24,205,110 - C-S - 1-6 - 272

Also, what's the verdict on full auto? The Saturn version has it anyway, it can't even be turned off... I'm not using it to improve my score either (it makes my scores worse if anything) but because I tend to hit the fire button very hard during the later stages, playing DDP for a prolonged time really hurts my right wrist otherwise.

If you still think it goes against the "defaults only" rule, I'll turn it off though.

Bullet, you may want to just post your highest score and not every score you get.

Also, since you seem to be scoring so low I'd suggest switching ships to an easier shot type. The A-L is the expert ship and requires much skill and precision, but the C-S is a good choice for beginners. It might seem slow at first, but you'll get chains without even having to try.
