how much more money for "completion" would you need? i mean its already been shown that the came simply needs a hex edit and then it can run fine in progressive mode. it seems that all they had to do is add the "switch" so to speak.
Right, all they needed to do was set that variable. You can still select what modes your tv supports in the xbox dash. And, if you use the regular composite video cable this patch does nothing. This must have been some Pointy Haired Boss's doing. Or perhaps microsoft wouldn't let them sell a progressive scan capable game for $20?

exactly.
especially considering the nature of the game.. 480p would enable you to see whats going on much better than you can in normal mode.

i think you may have found the real issue here. no 480p option in a game thats clearly capable is such a glaring oversight that it makes you wonder.. what IS the real reason..

OR.. maybe M$ just didnt want a progressive capable game being released for their "old" console now that the 360 is out.. since HDTV and prog scan is such a big part of its selling point.. and to most people there is no difference between the terms "HDTV" and "progressive scan"

well, this hack works on many games:

Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon (PAL)
Headhunter: Redemption
I-Ninja
Mashed Fully Loaded
Outlaw Golf 2 (PAL)
Puyo Pop Fever (NTSC?)
Shell Shock: NAM'67
SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom
Stacey Jones Rugby League *
Street Racing Syndicate
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus (PAL)
Vietcong: Purple Haze
XGRA: Extreme Racing (NTSC)

they couldn't have all forgotten. Is it me or do they all look like budget titles?
