Suggestion for individual rankings: Take the total points and divide it by the number of competitions that person has competed in (as long as the person competes in at least 3 weeks) so people that are unable to participate during a certain week for legit reasons doesn't get penalized.

i don't think that would work and it might encourage "cherry picking." It would be hard to be sure if people were missing weeks for legit reasons or not. They way i see it this is basically a mame competition; the original challenge from the italians was mame based and all the games shortlisted so far have worked in mame, of course it's a nice bonus for those of us who have pcb/console versions of these games that we can play on superior versions. i seem to remember you saying you can't use mame for some reason? that's unfortunate for you but i don't think we should change the rules.

That's why I suggested people have to participate in at least 3 of the 6 weeks. And I don't recall a rule ever being established on the topic, I just remember someone saying there should be individual results as well and the first inclination was to just total points. I also don't see any downside to doing an average other than "cherry picking", which is essentially a non-issue since half the tournament is over and it only hurts the person's team, which is the primary point of the competition.

I dunno, I think games each week have a different effect on just about everybody given how team and individual rankings have bounced around. While it would be a little fun to place an estimation on where people who didn't play all weeks would have been, I don't think in-actuality computing such a table would be useful, let-alone accurate. The man is making 4 of them already.

I can see why you're requesting it, as you've shown you do care about your placement with being the highest scoring player on a 2 week count.

'Tell ya what I'll do. If you stick in this tourney adding your scores for the last 3 weeks, if Edge doesn't compute that average-per-player after this is all over, I'll make it for ya after the week 6...then we can have our shits-'n-giggles and see what could have been.

If Rob wasn't so good at Psikyo , I think we'd have a good chance to keep at 3rd place after Psikyo week. AFAIK, Herr Schatten isn't half bad in their games, and I can play them decently too. I bet The Coop can make a good job too.

I don't know what to expect from Hiddem Gem Week. We may have a good opportunity on that week.

But I bet we will drop many positions after Cave Week :) .

Yeah, I know, but the guidelines for retro week were "not only is it supposed to be made in 1985 or before, it's also supposed to be incredibly shitty"
