I finally got around to getting a vga cable for my dreamcast. It didn't hit me until I started plugging it in though, what will I do for sound?
What are the options for sound if there are any?
Thanks in advance for any help.

There are several methods.
Either you use PC speakers that plug into the 3.5" jack. (This is what I do).
Or you buy a 3.5" male to 2 x RCA/phono male cable -

Your cable should have a small 3.5" jack in the box part. There are a few VGA boxes for the Dreamcast which have RCA outputs on them, but I have found the RCA outputs to be very unreliable, creating a crackling sound and distortion... I have no idea why.

This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.
