I broke my Starforce!
I bought a Starforce pcb with a wired in JAMMA converter from ebay quite a while ago, and due to a moment of extreme stupidity I plugged it in the wrong way round the first time i connected it, and of course it then didn't work when i tried it the correct way. I'd been told before that doing this kills a board, but now i'm wondering just exactly what happens when a board is connected the wrong way, and whether it's completely terminal or if it might be fixable. Does anyone have any idea?

Ah, that's it.Smithy wrote:What likely happened is that it sent all the high voltage wires (+5, 12 V) through the circuits where normally the controllers and stuff are connected, frying the board.... =/
I know why we always see 2P's contorl not working board being sold. That's why.
