New Details of Psikyo Collection 3 Sol Divide Dragon Blaze?

Post by PsikyoPshumpPshooterP »

has there been confirmed tate mode?
plus is there practice mode for DB where you can practice techinal bonuses..that would be cool if they had that option..Im looking for any additional info on this game other than the obvious collection of sol divide and dragon blaze...thanks

I can't imagine it not having tate mode, but I've got it preordered so I'll verify this in about two weeks. If you're sure you're gonna get it Psikyo, you should probably preorder it so you save an extra $5, I got mine for $50 at Play-Asia with a coupon code.

It'll probably have fucked up visuals if what people say about the first two releases is true, but nothing worse than what would be on MAME with a pc monitor I reckon. I'm gonna get it this summer once I have

A. Time to give the game serious play

and B. Money :P

exactly..which is a shame..DB which already has been out on PCB finally makes it home release..and a game like trizeal deserves a 2-page thread

I think (and hope) that attention will swing quite a bit after DB has been released. The game is worthy to be called Psikyo´s best ever. It´s hard to get used to, but not harder than DOJ, yet on the same quality level, if not even better.

Couldn't have expressed by views better. One of Psikyo's great titles criminally unavailable on a console finally comes out and the world snores on. Really, this is about on part for me as something like Dimahoo coming out on a console (I WISH!), but I guarentee that would have everyone up in arms and there'd be a countdown or something.

And you're right, it completely overshadows things like Trizeal and Chaos Field or whatever.

Hmmm...

I have the Dragon Blaze PCB and it does indeed rock. It is the finest crafted Psyiko game and really found them at the heights of their power. I have no need for the PS2 comp, but I ordered it anyway just as a thank you for putting it out to the masses.

To quote Julian Cope, it is gonna kick Trizeal's dick into the dirt. But I suppose we don't need to be so crass about it do we

What does it matter if Psikyo is dead? Some company is swell enough to port their games so we can play them without a pcb...don't they deserve something? At the very least better than a game that's getting attention only because the developer has begged people to buy it. And people have bought into that...

chill out a little guys. i think you are overreacting a little regarding the DC vs. anything else stuff and "attention" it gets compared to other stuff. there is a heck of a lot more spam around here, but counter act it by posting intelligent stuff. or just stick to the high score/strategy threads.

i'm probably excited as anyone that dragonblaze is making it to PS2. unfortunately you'll probably never see me in the high score thread because it rapes me so viciously.

as for DB vs. Trizeal, Chaos Feild or whatever...well i guess your just taking up space. you might as well compare an omega to a timex.

dude what do you know..your avatar is shedder...and the only reason i compared these two games is because thier release dates are about the same time and its so funny how Trizeal get so much damn exposure just because its on a dying system..say what you want..But i havent played trizeal and i played DB before..and i can bet if I like Trizeal better then DB, then im dust from this forum..Ill be gone

So bored of the petty developer league tables that go on on this site, Perhaps its too much to ask for people to actually try different things? (and judge them on merit instead of by association).

Of course if "xxx" isn't on or getting a PS2 port then most people here are too obstanant to bother no matter of the quality anyway. Why bother being balanced or show some kind of actual interest when a purile comment will suffice instead.

The problem is I hated XII Stag. I thought it felt incredibly amatuer and un-fun. I've always said I was in it for the games, not for the console. So now Trizeal is on the DC, a game no one has said anything favorable about, but everyone is pre-ordering and so forth. I mean, each to their own, but I know DragonBlaze is absolutely great. It DOES deserve more attention, and while I admit the juvenile excessiveness tthat PPP, Neon and I are indulging in is just that, I think there is some righteousness to it. If Progear was coming out later this month it would be a sticky, but there is very, very little attention being given here to DB. Does everyone really not care? It seems another medicore shmup from a company that (as far as I can tell) doesn't know how to make shmups, is getting enormous attention.

Well, whatever...

What is there to say about it? Everybody knows it's coming out and lots of us are getting it.

And it's an old game, so lots has been said about it already.

Not much until it's in our hands. Details on the port quality would be nice. One more week?

Where the hell did this come from? I've bought every dc shmup that's come out so far. Who's only buying shmups on the ps2??? Whoever it is, they are a lazy bastard and need to buy more consoles!

LAZY BASTARD!!!

I couldn't have said it better, Rob.

I've bought most of the DC shmups as well.

I have DB installed in my cab right now and its very pretty and atmospheric. Its hard too, but has a very similar style of play to gunbird and Strikers. I love it, and I think everyone else will.

Thank you, neo! Simply stated, truthful (IMO the hardest Psikyo shmup out there, with Strikers 1945 III a close second), and a dash of positive thinking at the end! Go Psikyo! Thank you Taito!

To judge a person by their avatar and second guess their motives is probably an all time new low, Even for this blatantly close minded forum.

Perhaps, but if your username was MegaNaomiFanboy, would the inference be valid there?
