Quick X2 Question...
I just got X2: No Relief (Japan version) for the PS1 today, and am looking for a confirmation of something...I play it on a JPS2, and while the gameplay, as far as I can tell, is okay, a lot of the text on the menus is messed up...in some cases a selection is completely missing (you can still access it, but can't read or see it). Has anyone else had this problem when playing on a JPS2, or is it something with my copy? It has little wear on the disc, I'd be surprised if that was the problem...

My X2 has the same problem, and it's the PAL version played on a (modded) PAL PS2. It's probably some weird PS1-PS2 -compatibility clitch.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

I use a USA Bios modded PSX to play JPN PSX X2 import...
I have a USA Bios 5500 series modded PSX to play my import Japanese PSX games with. Upon booting up the Capcom released version for Japan of "X2- No Relief", I don't see any missing text on the menu screens. My X2 import disc is in pristine but used condition with absolutely no scratches whatsoever.
Acclaim was seriously considering doing a USA PSX port of X2-No Relief game but decided not to at the last minute. I really was looking forward to it. ^_~
