Hudson Shooting Watch?

I was surfing the Hudson Collection website and I happen to stumble across this:

Seems like some kind of watch to time your autofire rate, perhaps. And who's that bald Japanese person at the downright corner? I see him almost everywhere in the webpage.

Yeah, I've seen them around for years. Greg and I even spotted one in a retro game shop in Japan

As far as I can tell, it`s not so much a fast trigger finger, but he`s twitching with his arm really quick. Everything else would lead to a burning carpal tunnel syndrome instantly. I am glad shmups have evolved since then.
