Everybody loves a moai head!
This may belong in offtopic... but seeing how Gradiusesque it is, I stuck it here.

Au contraire, my head would be far too big and tall for them to even think of getting my underwear all the way up there, so HA to them!
On a slightly more serious note, wearing something like that would be a semi-sure-fire way to know who to label a "jerk" in most any community...decent or open-minded people, for the most part, when they see something like that, will rightly mind their own business, but the perennial pains in the neck will feel it's their patriotic duty to give you trouble, just because you're doing something different. Reminds me oif a quote I heard someplace..."If you're rich, you're eccentric. If you're poor, you're just plain nuts."

Hmm i'm a little scared of that to tell the truth. Is it just me or does the moai mask look like a third rate Doctor Who villian.

I know!! If I found an arcade that had any incarnation of Gradius in one of their cabinets, I would definitely wear one of those while playing!
...
Then again, I'm not good enough at any Gradius game to be able to wear one...
It's one matter to wear one and be able to 1LC several loops, causing people at first to chuckle and mock you but then have their jaws dropped in amazement, but it's entirely different to wear one and suck... and then get beaten up :p

That would be really funny, if anyone ever tried it...I'd want to see videos of both the gameplay footage and the crowd's reactions.iatneH wrote:It's one matter to wear one and be able to 1LC several loops, causing people at first to chuckle and mock you but then have their jaws dropped in amazement...
