Hudson Collection Vol. 5: Shooting Collection... Anyone own?

Post by CecilMcW00t »

Do any of you own it? I have a few questions about it before I make my purchase. Can't find any data on it (in English).

1. Does it have high-score save?

2. Any options for rapid-fire?

3. Extras/unlockables?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not even sure if it was confirmed. There was a rumor of a volume 5 and 6 to the series but poor sales may have halted developement. *-neo

There was only 4 volumes. Sad cause old Hudson games are great. I wish they would of made as many as the sega ages have done.

V. 5 was released early this year. It's available here at play-asia. V. 6, the Adventure Island collection was released too, though Play-Asia is currently out of it. NSCX also has the games listed, though V. 5 ships in 1-2 weeks and V. 6 is sold out (not just out of stock, but sold out). However, both of these were definatly released. I would like to know more info on these collections too. Considering how the Adventure Island Collection seems to be sold out at a lot of places and the Shooting Collection is listed as shipping within 1-2 weeks at NCSX and within a week at play-asia, I'm pretty sure someone has to have them.

This game is basically a GBA port of the Caravan Shooting Collection for the SNES. Contains Star Force, Star Soldier, and Hector '87.

This game indeed has autofire (2 frequencies of autofire) which can be toggled by pressing the L button. And there are no hi-score saves.
