Solar Striker Remake

This is my entry for the retro remakes competition.
Its a remake of a gameboy game from 1989 (Nintendo GB) with some changes.
I added new bosses, a score system a replay function and online highscores.

There are some other shooter remakes like Nemesis and Zynaps.
I have only played a few of the over 70 games.
Nemesis is great. A bit different to the orginal but very well done!

Not to derail the topic, but how is the Zynaps remake? And to which version of the game is it linked? The Spectrum original? Or one of the other versions (CPC, C64, Amiga/Atari ST). I always found Zynaps pretty good, although the different versions are more like variations on the same theme rather than ports of the same game.

Btw, I watched the video of your Solar Striker remake and I think it looks great.

Its a remake of the zx spectrum version.

Cool, I'm going to check this out. Solar Striker was one of my first Gameboy games.

I wish Nintendo would make a remake or something. Their only shmup isn't too bad, even if it is a little simple.

god, the game gives you a powerup and then throws loads of enemies at you a split second after. I must say that is VERY annoying to deal with.

The original did that too, but the enemies aren't as manic as the ones in the remake.
