I'm not sure I'm going to get the chance to play tomorrow. As such, this may be my last try for this particular game before the deadline. If it is, at least it's my best score yet :)

Posting just to say that I tried. What a freaking grind. There is an embarassing amount of work behind this score. Anybody else have trouble with the stage 3 background being too bright? I'm tempted to keep playing to the deadline, because it feels like I'm close to huge improvements. But, on the other hand, I really hate the game.

I wonder how it won the vote when most of the players so far have said they hate the game.

Hate is too harsh. It angers me. It would anger me less if there was an extra life (or two).

Relatively tiny improvement, but I guess it's the best I can do. I'm pretty happy with it, but I'm even happier that tomorrow is the end of this round. I tried, Canada, I really did, but I can stands this game no more!

Also, wouldn't it be nice to get the 5-6 million point bonus on 6? You know you can get it from two places, but one takes a life (and is easier, but I still can't control the angel bonus appearance).

I'd like to inform the following teams that they don't have 3 players on the board yet and therefore would lose on score:

Team Cowboy
Team Canada
Team Skandinavia
California Dudez

and namakoteam, but I guess they are just waiting till the last minute to post their scores...

Please try to convince your teammembers to help you out.
And if you are on one of those teams and haven't submitted a score yet, you are on a team and your teammates are relying on you. Even if you post a lower score will it help them. :)

Just co-ordinating our efforts and making sure we have our best records submitted.

There isn't really that much wrong with it. :)

As long as only a couple of guys do that. Because if people's scores get stumped the last minute they "might" hide their scores on the next compo too and so the number of hidden scores increase. Making the current highscore table more and more useless. Though seriously it makes perfectly sense to hide the scores till the end, it gives a little strategical advantage. I am just a little bantering because this behavior "may" upset a few player's who felt pretty happy with their good scores.

Anyway, I am not seriously pissed or so and you don't need to defend yourself to keep that doing. It is absolutely legit. :)

I don't think players should rest on their laurels in a score competition anyway. If you stop playing just because you have a table-topping score, you're more likely to get owned by someone. ^_-

Especially if that someone has seen the upper level of scores submitted and has a target to work with. ^_-

Isn't it better to play to the best of your own ability and ensure that your score is the best you can get it?
