DDP - best way to run it on a US PS1
I would like to have the music if possible. How are you doing it? Swap disks are nice but I also don't have a problem soldering things. I happen to have a spare PS1 to experiment with.

The two swap discs I have do not work with DDP (or DP) for the PS1. The music does not work and I think DDP froze at some point. Because of the integrated use of red-book audio, most (all?) swap discs won't do the trick for this game as the CD Table-Of-Contents (TOC) is not read properly when using the swap technique. I modded my PS1 to play import games and that works great. It was 6 or 7 wires to solder (it's been 6 years since I did it) and not that difficult and lets me play all the Japanese games. Unlike the Dreamcast (where a swap disc works great!), a mod (or Japanese PS1) is the most robust way to play your Japanese games.doctorx0079 wrote:I would like to have the music if possible.
