Batsugun PCB picture NEEDED

Post by segasonicfan »

Hey peeps,
I got a Batsugun PCB in the mail today from CosmicCo and even though they assured me otherwise it looks to be a bootleg  I *really* need a picture of an official PCB to compare...

I've got a bootleg Batsugun PCB as well, although it's a Korean manufactured one but with Japanese Bios instead and the BGM music played without any problems. However, it is unplayable and needs to be re-burned EPROM-wise to get it back to 100% operational. ^_~

Yeah, the Korean boot is what I have. I'm so pissed at Cosmico for lying to me and now they're not willing to give me a refund. Gahh, another Paypal chargeback it is I guess...

Hey there Segasonicfan! I don't suppose you'd be prepared to post a pic of your bootleg copy of Batsugun would you? I've never heard of Batsugun boots before and would be keen to see what it looks like.

I really feel for ya though man, tis a tough PCB to get at the best of times and that sort of thing just rubs salt into the wound.

Cheers

This is the one major reason why I am afraid to jump into the PCB game.
I mean, I reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy don't wanna blow two paychecks on a busted ass boot from whereverthefuck they make 'em in Asia.
Are most bootlegs playable at least? what are my options if I happen to get one?

well I bitched at them enough till they said they would give me a refund (if I send the game back). So I sent it out last week (sorry no pic) and hopefully they'll follow through. If not I will have to do a chargeback :/ It was some serious BS though, they said since the listing said 'economic' that I should have known it was a boot. Course I asked them several times before I sent the money and they just lied and lied. I'm never doing business with those jerks again.

Nope, it wasn't really playable. There were a ton of graphical glitches and sound problems :(
