While I was wandering around the Xenocide files a bit ago, I found this statement from (I think) Akira in the "epilogue" to the arcade review of Macross II:
I actually am one of the few who likes the racing elements in Shippu Mahou Daisakusen (did anybody try the no-racing code on the Saturn version?), it makes it such a different shmup.
This is the first I've ever heard of this...I haven't been able to find any info on it elsewhere. Is this real, or a mistake, or just some kinda Gameshark-only thing? If anyone knows I'd be eager to hear what the deal is with this...
No-Race Code in Kingdom GP?

Shooting mode code:
In the options menu, with your curosor on the SOUND OPTIONS button press left, right, left, right, up, up, down, down, and then start. It should open a new option that says GAME MODES.
After that, get a score and submit it to the Kingdom Grandprix score board. There's a space of shooting mode scores (I'm working on getting a good one too.)
