The Rumble Fish
Anyone here pre-order The Rumble Fish? Its out now, but I still have to wait since I included GWG and Trizeal in my order. ...

It seems to me that The Rumble Fish should've been out a while ago... was it delayed, perhaps? Anyway, the developers probably didn't have anything to do with the home console release, and the arcade version was out quite some time ago, so they probably simply wanted to get started on the sequel.
As for buying one or the other... if TRF2 was only recently announced, one would probably have to wait a fair amount of time for a home version, if TRF is any indication. Besides; Some people like Power Stone more than Power Stone 2, but fans of the series surely have both...

Let's make one thing VERY clear Icy (sorry I've been meaning to refer to you like that for quite some time allreadyicepick wrote: Besides; Some people like Power Stone more than Power Stone 2, but fans of the series surely have both...

I bought Powerstone 2 only because I thought part 1 was da freaking bomb, but tpart 2 is dissapointing in lots of respects. The platform elements don't enhance the game they only make it more tedious to go from one fighting scene to the other...
Nice effort, but ultimately flawed! Powerstone 1 is a genuine classic though!
Also ever wondered why so few people care about Rumble fish? I know this is "hear-say" but a friend of mine who's an avid fighter fan played the game and found it to be rubbish...and he's a guy I trust in this respect.... (that is: on fighters ---> the guy guy dislike Giga Wing! Can you believe that!?

I owned RF on atomiswave...fun game, not as deep as it could be, but great visuals overall. Definitely worth picking up the port. [especially since it has 1 or 2 new characters and an anime intro]Super Laydock wrote:Let's make one thing VERY clear Icy (sorry I've been meaning to refer to you like that for quite some time allreadyicepick wrote: Besides; Some people like Power Stone more than Power Stone 2, but fans of the series surely have both...... please don't hold it against me!):

Yeah, I got to try this game out. Feels similar to Sonic Council with its huge focus on ground combos. The speed feels really strange, at times fast and at times slow. Visuals looked quite nice. Character designs were...OK. Sheryl is interesting although her time bombs didn't seem very useful. I'm not really sure what to think about this game yet...
