Off the top of my head, both Raystorm and Raycrisis were made to play in yoko to begin with, so tate isn't necessary.

Seeing as how neither game is a TATE game...so yes, where applicable. ;)

EDIT: BulletMagnet beat me to it
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

Haven't played either in MAME, but aren't both of these games on Taito Legends 2?

I am not sure if Raycrisis runs in Mame (I think it does, can't remember), but Raystorm runs very slowly... if Raycrisis runs, its probably even worse.
But if I remember correctly, Raystorm runs pretty well with Zinc.

But both games are so easy to buy nowadays in so many different formats, I don't think it's worth to waste time with emulation of those titles.

All I can say is, that Double Shooting pack is well worth the money. You should buy it while it's still affordable. I bought mine about a month ago off eBay for only $28, shipped.

I have both Raycrisis and Raystorm US editions that Working Designs put out. Does this double shooting compilation have any extras not on the ones I have?

Mame uses software rendering for that stuff, so it'll be accurate but slow. Try ZiNc instead - it does the graphics emulation in hardware. It's by R. Belmont - it shouldn't be hard to find. Oh, and it uses mame roms.

No. It's the PS1 versions slapped together. That's it.

funny as I remember getting raycrisis about 2 years ago on ebay for $20 bucks and it arriving in the mail when I just had my sinus surgery (I have really bad allergies) and still playing it with blood running into my throat, great times.
